Tattva Samadhi

Tattva Samadhi is a structured process for preparing a seeker for deeper meditation and Samadhi.

1. Understanding the Process

The seeker first understands what Tattva Samadhi is, what the practice involves and how the process progresses.

The complete roadmap is explained, from the fundamentals of meditation through Dharana and Dhyana towards Samadhi.

The seeker learns what to expect at each stage and how to recognise genuine progress in practice.

2. Yogic Study

Selected yogic scriptures and teachings are introduced to provide the traditional framework for the practice.

The teachings help the seeker understand Meditation, Samadhi, Prana, the subtle body and the stages of inner experience.

3. Fundamentals of Meditation

The practical training begins with the foundations of meditation.

Mantra chanting, emptiness, meditation methods, posture and the conditions required for deeper practice are introduced.

4. Preparing the Body and Lifestyle

The seeker prepares the body and daily life for sustained practice.

Diet, sleep, yogic exercises, breath practices, bandhas and daily discipline are introduced according to the requirements of Tattva Samadhi.

5. Stabilizing Prana

The practice then moves towards regulating and stabilizing prana.

Yogic methods are used to prepare the pranic system for deeper meditation. The movement of energy from Muladhara towards Sahasrara is introduced as part of the deeper practice.

6. Stabilizing the Mind

The seeker learns to make the mind steady and less reactive.

Attention is trained through regular practice. The seeker also learns to distinguish actual spiritual experience from imagination, expectation, suggestion and psychological phenomena.

7. Dharana

The practice progresses towards Dharana.

The seeker learns to hold attention steadily on the chosen object without repeatedly losing it to thoughts and external impressions.

8. Dhyana

With sustained concentration, the practice develops into Dhyana.

Attention becomes continuous and meditation deepens beyond deliberate concentration.

9. Samadhi

The process ultimately leads towards Samadhi.

The teaching follows the progression described in the Yoga Sutra, where Dharana develops into Dhyana and Dhyana into Samadhi.

Tattva Samadhi is not about chasing unusual experiences. It is a disciplined process of understanding, preparation and practice that takes the seeker progressively deeper into meditation.

10. Continuing the Practice

After completing the program, the seeker continues the practice independently at home.

Savitur remains available to clarify further questions, discuss experiences and provide guidance as the practice develops.
